Wat houd de zuivere Islam in?

We lezen en horen veel van moslims wereldwijd. Iedereen claimt op de juiste weg van de islam te zitten. Wat is de juiste weg en wie heeft er nu gelijk? U, de imams in Suriname, of die van Saudi-Arabië of India of Indonesië? Wat is de juiste maatstaf om onderscheid te maken tussen de ware islam en dwaling?

Allaah heeft de mensheid niet aan hun lot over gelaten en hij heeft Zijn beste schepping naar de mensheid gestuurd. De ware islam is nog steeds aanwezig. Het is de middenweg tussen laksheid en extremisme in de religie. Het is aan ons om hiernaar op zoek te gaan en ernaar te handelen.

De profeet ﷺ heeft gezegd: “Ik heb jullie [iets] achtergelaten, wanneer jullie je hieraan vasthouden zullen jullie na mij nooit afdwalen; het Boek van Allah en mijn Soennah.”
